ContextA Chicago and North Western suburban train from Barrington rounded a curve last night and plowed into the rear of a holiday special out of Elroy, Wisconsin, that had stopped to let passengers off at a station four miles from the Loop. The wooden coaches, pressed into service for the Labor Day rush, telescoped; five of the dead have been identified and about a hundred are hurt, and the suburban engineer has been placed under arrest.
